About Slush Puppie Place
Slush Puppie Place is an indoor arena with 5,000 seats, in the downtown of Kingston, Ontario. It opened as the K-Rock Centre in 2008 and houses the Kingston Frontenacs, who play in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Inside is also a sports hall of fame for Kingston and its district.
Brisbin Brook Beynon Architects designed the arena and EllisDon Construction built it, on a city-owned site called the "North Block", then a parking lot. Because part of the site was once part of the historic Fort Frontenac, an archaeological dig was needed. Groundbreaking took place on July 28, 2006. The arena later became the Rogers K-Rock Centre, then Leon's Centre, and in January 2024 it was renamed Slush Puppie Place.
The Frontenacs' first game there was on February 22, 2008, a 3–2 loss to the Belleville Bulls. The Tragically Hip gave the first concert the next night, and on August 20, 2016 closed their Man Machine Poem Tour there, in a concert broadcast nationally by the CBC. The arena also hosted curling's 2013 Scotties Tournament of Hearts and, in 2020, the Tim Hortons Brier.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |
|---|---|---|

- Curved arena roof
- The long oval roof has fine ribbing and small rooftop boxes. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps the curve smooth, and Print friendly keeps the small boxes from becoming fragile nubs.
- Facade grid detail
- The curved front wall carries a fine grid of windows and trim. A larger print size or Full detail keeps that grid readable.
- One piece with the ground
- Slush Puppie Place is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Slush Puppie Place takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About this model
Slush Puppie Place is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
Common questions
Is there a Slush Puppie Place STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. Slush Puppie Place grows with the print: about 8 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
