7 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Small Romanesque windows
Small Romanesque windows and simple stone detail shrink at model scale. Print friendly adapts them, and a larger print or layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps the edges crisp.
- One piece with the ground
St. Rupert's Church, Vienna is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. St. Rupert's Church, Vienna takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About St. Rupert's Church, Vienna
St. Rupert's Church, known in German as the Ruprechtskirche, is a Romanesque church in Austria's capital, Vienna. Tradition holds that it is the city's oldest church, and it honors Saint Rupert of Salzburg, the patron saint of Vienna's salt merchants. It stands in an old quarter of the city, within the area of the Roman settlement of Vindobona.
There is debate over whether it is truly Vienna's oldest church, since old graves lie beneath St. Stephen's Cathedral and old foundations have been found beneath St. Peter's Church. Legend says Cunald and Gisalrich, companions of Rupert, founded it, but Salzburg's influence on religious matters in Vienna from 796 to 829 makes a foundation then more likely. A document of 1200 contains the first written mention.
The building has been altered and rebuilt repeatedly over the centuries. A fire damaged it in 1276, after which it was modified; the choir is from the 13th century and the southern nave from the 15th. It received a Baroque redecoration in 1622 and suffered some shellfire damage in World War II. Ivy covers the church, which holds Vienna's oldest bells, from around 1280, and glass panes from about 1370.
