6 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Slender spire and cross
The corner tower ends in a thin spire topped by a small cross. Print friendly adapts it to your print scale; Full detail keeps it for larger prints. Printing slowly with cooling helps the tip form cleanly.
- Arched windows along the nave
Rows of small arched windows run down the long side walls. A layer height of 0.12-0.16 mm keeps them crisp, and a larger print size preserves more of them.
- One piece with the ground
St. Stephan's Church, Ironbound is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. St. Stephan's Church, Ironbound takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About St. Stephan's Church, Ironbound
St. Stephan's Church is a Lutheran church where Ferry Street meets Wilson Avenue, in Newark, New Jersey, within the Ironbound section. It dates from 1874, and the National Register of Historic Places listed it in 1972. Its first name included "German United Evangelical Church," because Germans who had immigrated to the area established it.
The building occupies a junction in the Ironbound that goes by the nicknames "Five Corners" and "The Bend." During the 1960s the congregation became a United Church of Christ congregation, and its services moved from German to Portuguese and Spanish after Brazilian immigrants arrived in numbers and many began to attend. A 2009 merger produced St. Stephan's Grace Community Church. The site also appears in a 2005 movie, War of the Worlds: a recreated church front facing Merchant Street was built to shear off and move before an alien craft emerged from below the street.
