About Stade Atlantique
Stade Atlantique, which means "Atlantic Stadium" in French, is a football venue in the city of Bordeaux, France. Its alternative name is Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux, meaning New Stadium of Bordeaux. It seats 42,115 spectators, and FC Girondins de Bordeaux calls it home. Building work started in November 2012 and finished in April 2015, and the stadium was inaugurated on May 18, 2015. Herzog & de Meuron are listed as its architects.
Bordeaux played Montpellier in the first match, on May 23, 2015, the last day of that league season, and won 2–1, with Diego Rolan scoring both goals. It also staged the rugby union Top 14 semi-finals for the 2014–15 season and five matches of UEFA Euro 2016, one of them a quarter-final. On September 7, 2015, France beat Serbia 2–1 there in a friendly.
In September 2016 the ground was awarded the Coupe de la Ligue Final for 2018, as part of plans to hold the final at venues outside Paris. Céline Dion performed the first concert there on June 29, 2017, and Guns N' Roses played there on June 26, 2018. In November 2017 it was confirmed as one of nine stadiums for the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |
|---|---|---|
| 160 mm default | 10 mm | 1:3,750 |
| 200 mm | 13 mm | 1:3,000 |

- A ring of slim columns
- Many slender columns stand around the stadium under the roof. Print friendly adapts thin parts like these to the print scale, while Full detail keeps them for a larger print or a fine nozzle.
- Wide flat roof
- A broad flat roof covers the stands, with a rectangular opening over the pitch. A larger print size makes the opening and the seating inside easier to see, and layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep the roof edge clean.
- One piece with the ground
- Stade Atlantique is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Stade Atlantique takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About this model
Stade Atlantique is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
Common questions
Is there a Stade Atlantique STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. Stade Atlantique grows with the print: about 10 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
