Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Tall tower, print slowly

The top of a tall skyscraper is its thinnest part. Print friendly adapts thin parts to the print scale; Full detail suits larger prints. Printing slowly with cooling helps the top stay clean.

  2. One piece with the ground

Stantec Tower is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Stantec Tower takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Stantec Tower

Stantec Tower, a skyscraper with mixed uses, stands in Ice District in downtown Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Its final design has 66 stories and reaches 251 meters (823 ft). Its 454 residential units share the tower with offices and retail space, and the company Stantec has its headquarters there. Rogers Place, where the NHL's Edmonton Oilers play, is nearby. The tower is the tallest building in Canada outside Toronto.

On August 26, 2014, Stantec presented to the public the engineering and design work it had completed itself. The initial design had 62 stories at a height of 224 meters (735 ft), but the finalized design grew to 66 stories. Work began in the fall of 2014, and the project moved above grade in August 2016. On May 23, 2018, the tower reached 197 meters (646 ft) and passed the neighboring JW Marriott tower to become the tallest building in Edmonton.

The office area opened September 26, 2018, and the tower reached its full height on November 16, 2018. Crews added the residential floors at a pace of 3 meters (9.8 ft) per week. The residential portion opened in 2019, and the tower was completed that year.

About this model

Stantec Tower is one of more than 5,500 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Each model is written as code from public descriptions, plans, photographs and aerial views used only as references; no image or third-party model is copied into it. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. Rights in the building itself, its name and any brands on it are not granted by Mini Skyline; clear them separately before you sell prints. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
