Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. A very low building

The station is a long, low building with a pitched roof and a few small chimneys, much lower than most landmark models. A bigger print size keeps its roof and wall details readable.

  2. Layer height for small parts

Small porch steps and roof details are tiny at the default size. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm helps them show, and Full detail keeps them on a larger print.

  3. One piece with the ground

Storskog is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Storskog takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Storskog

Storskog, literally Big Forest, is a border station on Norway's side of the frontier with Russia, on the European route E105 highway. It lies in Finnmark County, within Sør-Varanger Municipality, in Norway's far northeast, about 16 kilometers (9.9 mi) east of Kirkenes and about 40 kilometers (25 mi) north of Nikel. It is the sole lawful crossing on land between the two countries.

The Russian side is at Boris Gleb in Pechengsky District, Murmansk Oblast, where a second border crossing station stands. Travelers must pass both stations to enter the opposite country, and a duty-free shop in Russia sits between the two.

About this model

Storskog is one of more than 4,900 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
