Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Protect the small roof ornaments

Small upright ornaments repeat along the roof edges. Print friendly adapts these fine parts to the print scale; a larger print with Full detail keeps every modeled ornament.

  2. Retain the balcony and arches

The front has slender columns, arches, and a balcony with fine railing detail. Increase the print size to preserve these small features, and use 0.12–0.16 mm layers to keep their outlines crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Sultan's Palace, Zanzibar is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Sultan's Palace, Zanzibar takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Sultan's Palace, Zanzibar

The Sultan's Palace stands along Mizingani Road on the waterfront of Stone Town in Zanzibar, Tanzania. The House of Wonders and Old Dispensary lie on either side of its location. White walls decorated with merlons characterize the three-story building, which dates to the late 19th century and was intended to house the Sultan's family. It occupies the site of Bait As-Sahel, an earlier palace destroyed during the Anglo-Zanzibar War in 1896. Its history connects royal residence, government, and museum uses.

After the Zanzibar Revolution, the building acquired the name People's Palace in 1964 and served as the seat of government. A museum devoted to Zanzibar's royal family and history opened there in 1994. One floor focuses on Sultan Sir Khalifa bin Harub, while another presents Sayyida Salme, also known as Emily Ruete. The former princess moved to Hamburg with her husband, Rudolph Heinrich Ruete. Displays include her writings, clothing, and everyday accessories, alongside royal furniture and belongings illustrating life in 19th-century Zanzibar.
