  1. Big roof, rich facade

A wide gabled roof dominates the print from above, while the facade carries columns, arches and reliefs. Use Full detail on a larger print to keep them, or Print friendly for a small, robust model.

  2. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  3. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Teatro Colón takes the building color.

  4. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Teatro Colón

The Teatro Colón is an opera house with a long history in Buenos Aires, Argentina. National Geographic ranks it among the world's ten best opera houses. In a survey of top international opera and orchestra directors, the acoustics expert Leo Beranek found its hall to offer the best sound for opera anywhere, and the second best for concerts.

The present building replaced an earlier theater that opened in 1857. After a 20-year process of building, its opening came on May 25, 1908, with a performance of Aïda by Giuseppe Verdi. In 1889 the cornerstone went in under the direction of the architect Francesco Tamburini, whose pupil Vittorio Meano shared the work; they planned a theater in the Italian style. The Belgian architect Julio Dormal completed it in 1908 and gave the decoration its French character. Sculptor Luigi Trinchero made the facade's bas-reliefs and busts.

It stands on Libertad Street, facing Plaza Lavalle, on land that once held the Park Station, Argentina's first railway station. The theater closed for refurbishment in October 2006 and reopened on May 24, 2010. It was declared a National Historic Monument. It is home to the Colón's own resident orchestra, choir and ballet, and to the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra.
