71 m of the Theatine Church, 19 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Dome and twin towers
The dome and the two towers give the church its tall outline. Print friendly detail adapts the thin tower tops and the dome details to the print scale; Full detail keeps them for a larger print.
- Facade between the towers
The twin-tower facade carries repeated vertical lines. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm and a bigger print keep them crisp.
- One piece with the ground
The Theatine Church is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Theatine Church takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Theatine Church
The Theatine Church in Munich, dedicated to St. Cajetan and Adelaide, is Roman Catholic. Ferdinand Maria, the Elector, founded it with Henriette Adelaide of Savoy, his wife, in thanks for the birth of their heir, Prince Max Emanuel, in 1662. It stands at Odeonsplatz. Building work ran from 1663 to 1690.
Italian High Baroque shapes the design, which drew on Sant'Andrea della Valle in Rome; Agostino Barelli designed it. Enrico Zuccalli, his successor, completed the dome in 1690 and added two towers absent from the first plans. Length is 72 meters (236 feet), width 15.5 meters (51 feet). A Rococo facade by François de Cuvilliés followed in 1768.
The yellow color and Mediterranean look made the church a symbol of Munich and left a mark on southern German Baroque. The Dominican Order administers it, and it also carries the name Dominican Priory of St. Cajetan. Renovation inside and out took place in stages from 2001 to 2019. Members of the Wittelsbach royal family are buried in the crypt.
