339 m of Tianfu Panda Tower, 92 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Thin antenna mast
A slim mast with an open lattice section rises above the pod. Print slowly with good cooling, and use a 0.12–0.16 mm layer height to keep it crisp.
- Splayed legs and flared pod
The base spreads into angled legs, and the shaft widens into a pod near the top. "Print friendly" adapts thin parts to the print scale, while "Full detail" suits a large print.
- One piece with the ground
Tianfu Panda Tower is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Tianfu Panda Tower takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Tianfu Panda Tower
Tianfu Panda Tower, also called the 339 TV Tower, is a radio and TV tower 339 meters (1,112 ft) high. It is in Chenghua in Chengdu, Sichuan, China, and its address is 168 Mengzhuiwan Street, beside the Jin River. It works as a broadcasting hub for Sichuan, counts among the most prominent landmarks of Chengdu's skyline, and ranks as the tallest tower in western China.
It was completed in 2006 under the name Sichuan Radio and Television Tower. Its tourism facilities were opened to visitors on September 15, 2013, with two observation levels, an indoor one at 208 meters and an outdoor one at 218 meters. By 2015 it had been renamed Jinxiu Tianfu Tower, and on February 9, 2018, it was renamed again, as Tianfu Panda Tower.
Its structure divides into five sections, from the base and a lower tower building up through the main shaft and an upper tower building to the antenna mast. Roughly 8,000 m2 of the interior, which is about 86,000 sq ft, is used for tourism, dining, entertainment and exhibitions. A rotating restaurant in the upper tower gives a view of the city through 360 degrees.
