179 m of Tour CB21, 52 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Tall, narrow cross-shaped tower
The tower is tall and slender, with its cross-shaped plan visible at the crown. Print slowly with good cooling, and use a layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm for crisp window lines.
- Fine window grid
The facade carries a very dense grid of small window lines. A larger print size keeps more of it, and Print friendly adapts it to the print scale.
- One piece with the ground
Tour CB21 is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Tour CB21 takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Tour CB21
In La Défense, west of Paris, France, Tour CB21 stands among the high-rises of the business district; it was formerly called Tour Gan. It is an office skyscraper designed by the celebrated American architect Max Abramovitz. It was built from 1972 to 1974, and its ground shape is a Greek cross.
Up to its roof it rises 179 m (587 ft); with its rooftop antenna included, the height is 187 m (614 ft). At completion it ranked as the second tallest building in Paris. In 1972, while it was being built, a protest campaign opposed Tour Gan and demanded a lower height, but it was completed at the planned height. It has 44 floors above ground.
About this model
Tour CB21 is one of more than 4,900 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
