Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. A roof of small domes

The prayer hall roof is covered in many small domes. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep them smooth, and Full detail keeps every dome on larger prints, while Print friendly adapts them at small sizes.

  2. Fine arches around the courtyard

Rows of small arches surround the open courtyard and the central gateway. A larger print size keeps more of that detail, especially for such a low building.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Vakil Mosque is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Vakil Mosque takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Vakil Mosque

The Vakil Mosque is a Shi'ite mosque in Shiraz, in Iran's Fars province, just west of the Vakil Bazaar and beside the bazaar's entrance. Construction ran from 1164 AH (1750/1751 CE) to 1187 AH (1773/1774 CE) in the Zand era, and the mosque was restored in the 19th century in the Qajar era. Vakil means regent, a title used by Karim Khan, who founded the Zand dynasty. His government was seated in Shiraz, and he endowed many buildings there, this mosque among them.

The mosque covers 8,660 square meters (93,200 sq ft). It has just two iwans where four is usual, placed on the north and south sides of a big open sahn that measures 65 by 60 meters (213 by 197 ft), and there is also a smaller yard of 35 by 20 meters (115 by 66 ft). The prayer hall has 48 great spiral pillars. It was listed on Iran's National Heritage List in 1932.
