Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. A tall square tower

The tower's flat faces and straight vertical lines carry its silhouette, so clean layers matter more than small overhangs. Use 0.12-0.16 mm layers and Print friendly at the default size; Full detail suits a larger print.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Victoria Tower is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Victoria Tower takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Victoria Tower

London's Palace of Westminster has a square tower, the Victoria Tower, at its southwest end, with Black Rod's Garden to its west and Old Palace Yard to its east. Its 98.5 m (323 ft) makes it the palace's tallest part. It is taller than the Elizabeth Tower at the north end, which holds Big Ben, by 2.2 m (7.2 ft). Charles Barry and Augustus Pugin gave it a Perpendicular Gothic design, and building work ended in 1860.

A fireproof store for books and documents was the tower's original purpose, set by the contest to rebuild the palace after the blaze of October 16, 1834. That blaze consumed the building and nearly every record of the House of Commons; the Lords' records survived because they were kept in the Jewel Tower, which stands across the road. Barry's plan put a tower above the sovereign's entrance and used 12 of its floors for records.

The Parliamentary Archives fill 12 floors. One wrought-iron Victorian stair, 553 steps long, once connected all 14 floors, and five of those floors still have it; the steps use granite from Cairngall in Aberdeenshire. At the base, the sovereign's entrance is the door the monarch uses for the State Opening of Parliament. The iron flagstaff on the roof carries the Union Flag, or the royal standard when the sovereign is in the palace.
