10 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Give the facade room
The theater reads best when printed large enough for its roofline and raised facade details to stay separate. The Full detail setting and 0.12–0.16 mm layers help.
- One piece with the ground
The Vinohrady Theatre is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Vinohrady Theatre takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Vinohrady Theatre
Vinohrady Theatre is a theater in Vinohrady, Prague, in the Czech Republic. Construction began on February 27, 1905, and the building opened in 1907. Alois Čenský and Antonín Turek are credited as its architects, and its design combines Renaissance Revival and Art Nouveau architecture. It is listed as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
From autumn 1950 until January 1966, the Czechoslovak Army used the building as its theater. A curtain depicting a naked muse, painted by Vladimír Županský, hangs inside. The playwright Viktor Dyk was active at the theater around 1915. The theater takes its name from Vinohrady, the Prague district where it stands.
During the Velvet Revolution, when the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic was overthrown, a rally took place outside the theater during the night of November 19–20, and a crowd gathered outside the building. The actress Vlasta Chramostová was quoted putting two questions to the crowd: "If not now, when?" and "If not us, then who?"
