Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Long station hall

A station is a long building with platform overhangs rather than a tower. A larger print helps the roofline and the hall edges read; 0.12–0.16 mm layers keep them crisp.

  2. Roof and canopy edges

The roof and canopy edges are among the finest parts of the structure. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail suits larger prints.

  3. One piece with the ground

Wien Westbahnhof railway station is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Wien Westbahnhof railway station takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Wien Westbahnhof railway station

Wien Westbahnhof, or Vienna West station, is a major railway station in Austria and the place where the West railway originally began. It was once a terminus for international rail services. In 2015 Vienna's new main station opened and changed its role: it became mostly a commuter station, and it is the terminus for the private Westbahn intercity service from Bregenz and Munich. S-Bahn S50, U-Bahn U3 and U-Bahn U6 all serve it, and six tram lines meet on Europaplatz outside.

The station lies on the Gürtel ring road in Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus, Vienna's 15th District. Mariahilfer Strasse runs south-east toward the center of the city. It was built for the western railway, then called the Kaiserin-Elisabeth-Bahn. The architect Moritz Löhr designed it, and it opened in 1858. The original main hall measured 104 meters (341 ft 2 in) by 27.2 meters (89 ft 3 in), with a beamed iron awning over four tracks and two towers flanking the exit.

Bombs hit the station in April 1945 and it burned down during the Vienna offensive near the end of the war. It was torn down in 1949 and rebuilt to designs by Hartiger & Wöhnhart, reopening in 1952 with eleven tracks and covered peninsular platforms. The large hall facing Europaplatz has a lower and an upper level. The station, with its half-timbered roof construction, has protected-monument status.
