14 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Slim floodlight masts
Several thin floodlight masts rise above the bowl. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale, Full detail keeps them for a larger print, and slow printing with good cooling helps.
- Slender frame under the stands
The outer wall is a frame of slender columns and beams, and the flat roof of the main stand rests on thin posts. A larger print size and layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep them crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Accra Sports Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Accra Sports Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Accra Sports Stadium
Accra Sports Stadium is a multi-use, all-seater stadium in Accra, Ghana, with a capacity of 40,000. It is mostly used for association football and also hosts rugby union. A football match between Accra XI and Kumasi XI inaugurated it in 1962. Hearts of Oak, described as among Africa's most popular clubs, plays there, as do Accra Lions FC and Great Olympics, and Ghana's national team sometimes plays there too. The stadium also carried the name Ohene Djan Stadium, given in 2004 after renovations, after Ghana's first Director of Sports.
As a designated host of some games at the 2008 African Cup of Nations, the stadium was rebuilt, upgraded and brought up to FIFA standards. Work finished in October 2007, and a four-nation tournament, the Zenith Cup, which Ghana won, inaugurated the renewed stadium. At the 2000 African Cup of Nations, hosted by Ghana and Nigeria, it staged nine matches, and it also staged the 1978 final. On November 6, 1976, Ghanaian David Kotei lost his World Boxing Council featherweight title to Danny Lopez by unanimous decision after 15 rounds, before a crowd estimated at over 100,000.
