Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Lattice masts behind the east stand

Slender lattice floodlight masts stand clear behind the east stand. Print friendly adapts thin parts; Full detail keeps the lattice for a large print or a fine nozzle.

  2. Truss frames above the west roof

The west stand's truss frames ride above its cantilevered roof. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm help their thin members come out crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

Almaty Central Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Almaty Central Stadium takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Almaty Central Stadium

Almaty Central Stadium is a multi-purpose ground in the Kazakh city of Almaty, and the biggest sports complex in the country. Football fills most of its calendar: FC Kairat Almaty shares the ground, and it is the home stadium of the Kazakhstan national football team. Kairat first played there on April 10, 1960, in a 0–0 draw against Leningrad's Admiralty.

The complex was built in stages between 1955 and 1975. The large arena went up in 1955–1958, its chief architect Adambek Kapanov working with A.Ya. Kossov, with a 104 by 69 meter field, eight running tracks of 100 and 400 meters, and grandstands designed for thirty thousand seats. A smaller arena holding a stadium of five thousand seats, an archery field, tennis and handball courts, plus an athletics hall added in 1975, filled out the 22-hectare site.

A reconstruction in 2009 and 2010, paid from the city budget with a price of 3 billion Tenge, replaced the turf with natural grass held by synthetic fiber implants and changed the pitch from 104 by 69 meters to 105 by 68 meters to suit UEFA requirements. The stadium reopened on September 18, 2010. In plan it is an oval, and its stands hold 23,804 seats. The city listed it as an architectural monument of local importance in 1987.
