14 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Slanted support struts
Slanted struts run around the outside of the bowl. Print friendly adapts the thinnest ones to the print scale; Full detail keeps every strut on a larger print, and a slower print speed helps.
- Steep, stepped tiers
The seating tiers are thin and stacked steeply. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep the steps crisp, and a larger print size keeps the tiers distinct.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Arrowhead Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Arrowhead Stadium
Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium, in Missouri, is an American football stadium that opened in 1972 as the home venue of the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs. It rose alongside Kauffman Stadium, the Royals' ballpark next door, and the pair make up the Truman Sports Complex. Its capacity of 76,416 is the biggest of any sports facility in Missouri. A $375 million renovation wrapped up in 2010.
Voters approved $102 million in bonds in 1967 to build two stadiums, and the county offered a site at the east end of town, close to where Interstate 70 meets Interstate 435. The first plan was a baseball and a football stadium side by side, sharing a roof that would roll between them, but it proved more complicated and costly than expected and was dropped for a conventional open-air layout. Construction began in 1968. To add seats without enlarging the footprint, the upper sections were set at a steep incline, which accessibility rules now prevent in new stadiums.
In the first preseason game at the stadium, on August 12, 1972, the Chiefs defeated the Cardinals of St. Louis, 24–14. In 1973 it became the first NFL stadium to put arrows on its yard markers to point to the nearer goal line. On October 13, 2013, fans claimed the Guinness World Record for the noisiest stadium at 137.5 dB; after Seattle fans broke it later that year, the Chiefs reclaimed the title in September 2014 at 142.2 decibels.
