24 m of Baku Crystal Hall, 8 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Diamond crown
The facade is a ring of diamond panels that lean outward and meet in a zigzag crown, with open triangular entrances between their feet. Print friendly keeps the faceted shell; Full detail adds the fine panel bars.
- Entrance triangles
Each entrance is an open triangle under a tilted canopy. A larger print helps these recesses read; 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers keep the canopy edges and crown points crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Baku Crystal Hall is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Baku Crystal Hall takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Baku Crystal Hall
Baku Crystal Hall is a covered arena in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, on the coast, close to National Flag Square. Its membrane facade glows with LED lighting and gives the building a crystalline outline. Work started in August 2011 and ended in April 2012, just before the venue staged its first big event, the Eurovision Song Contest.
The contest was the reason for building it. Alpine Bau Deutschland AG signed the main construction contract on August 2, 2011, and the government set aside 6 million AZN for the project. In September 2011 the announced figure for spectators was 25,000. Completion had been targeted for March 31, 2012, but bad weather pushed it back three weeks, and the building was declared finished on April 16, 2012. It was opened on May 7, 2012.
Inside, there are 12,000 seats, and up to 27,000 people can be accommodated. The hall rises 24 m at its center, and the whole complex covers 30,958 m2, with 10,964 m2 taken by the arena itself. Eurovision took place from May 22 to 26, 2012; later events include sports at the 2015 European Games and at the 2023 World Taekwondo Championships.
