12 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A broad, shallow stadium
The ground spreads out well beyond its height, so most of the model reads as a flat, broad shape. A bigger print gives the outline of the stands more room.
- Keep the roofline sharp
Little rises above the top of the bowl, so layers of 0.12–0.16 mm are mainly what keeps the upper edges and the corners clean.
- One piece with the ground
The Estadio Coliseum is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Estadio Coliseum takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Estadio Coliseum
Estadio Coliseum is a football stadium owned by the municipality in Getafe, Spain, and Getafe CF plays its home matches there. It was built in 1998, and after several rounds of extension it holds 17,393 people. A roof covers almost all of the west stand, put up to shelter supporters from bad weather.
Getafe CF moved from the provisional ground Estadio Juan de la Cierva and played its first game at the Coliseum on August 30, 1998, against Talavera CF. The official opening came a few days later, on September 2, 1998, with a triangular match between Atlético Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Feyenoord. The ground has also been used for friendlies between national teams, and in May 2010 it staged the final of the Women's UEFA Champions League.
For a time the stadium carried the name Coliseum Alfonso Pérez, honoring Alfonso Pérez, a former Spain international who grew up in Getafe yet only played for the club's youth side. The name came off in 2023, after an interview in which he made disparaging comments about women footballers. The pitch measures 105 m by 70 m.
