18 mm tall on a 160 mm print

Make this print opens the generator on a 750 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Lighthouse and its lantern

The lighthouse is the model's one tall, slender piece, with a gallery and a glass lantern near the top. Full detail keeps the lantern slots open; a larger print helps the shaft stay straight.

  2. Canopy and banners

A thin canopy rides on brackets above the two sideline upper decks, and a row of banners hangs on the board behind one end. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep the brackets and banners apart.

  3. One piece with the ground

Gillette Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Gillette Stadium takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Gillette Stadium

The home of the New England Patriots and the New England Revolution stands in Foxborough, Massachusetts, in the United States. Downtown Boston lies 22 miles (35 km) to the northeast, and Providence, Rhode Island, 18 miles (29 km) to the southwest. Both clubs use the ground as their base, and it opened in 2002 in place of the adjacent Foxboro Stadium.

HOK Sport, now Populous, designed it. Robert Kraft, who owns the Patriots and the Revolution, asked for a design based on M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore and for an entrance in the manner of Disneyland; 200 designs went by before he approved one, and the entrance includes a lighthouse. Kraft paid the full construction cost himself. Seating comes to 64,628; among the seats are 82 luxury suites and 5,876 club seats.

Gillette bought the naming rights after the dot-com bust, and in September 2010 the company and the Patriots extended their partnership, including the stadium name, through the 2031 season. Every Patriots home game has sold out since the move, a streak that starts with the 1994 season at Foxboro Stadium. Kraft Sports Group, part of the Kraft Group, owns and operates the ground.
