8 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Slim floodlight towers
Tall slim light towers stand at the ends of the grandstand. Print slowly with good cooling, and use Print friendly to adapt these thin parts to the print scale.
- Curved rows of seating
The grandstand curves around the field in many fine rows of seating. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep the rows crisp, and a larger print size keeps them readable.
- One piece with the ground
Hadlock Field is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Hadlock Field takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Hadlock Field
Hadlock Field, officially Delta Dental Park at Hadlock Field, hosts minor league baseball in Portland, Maine. Two teams call it home: the Portland High School Bulldogs baseball squad and the Portland Sea Dogs, who play in the Eastern League. The city owns the stadium and leases it to the Sea Dogs, an affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. It honors Edson B. Hadlock Jr., who coached baseball and taught physics at Portland High School for many years and is in the Maine Baseball Hall of Fame.
Hadlock Field opened on April 18, 1994, with 6,000 seats. Capacity reached 6,500 by 1995, then 6,860 by 1998 and 6,975 by 2002. Roughly 400 more seats went into right field ahead of the 2006 season, for a total of 7,368. Its neighbors are the historic Fitzpatrick Stadium, Interstate 295 and the Portland Exposition Building, which is the second-oldest arena in the United States to have operated continuously.
The Sea Dogs are a Boston Red Sox affiliate, and the ballpark has several features that nod to Fenway Park, including a replica Green Monster in left field called the Maine Monster, a Citgo sign replica and a big Coke bottle. The Maine Monster is a green wooden wall 160 feet long and 11 m (37 feet) high, topped by a screen 3.7 m (12 feet) tall. A fan contest chose its name, and no seats can be added to it, as the Union Branch railroad passes directly behind the wall.
About this model
Hadlock Field is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
