Make this print opens the generator on a 700 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Ring roof and outer fascia

The roof runs unbroken round the bowl and ends in a thick fascia above the stands. Full detail keeps that fascia and the slender columns along the roof's inner edge; Print friendly adapts them at small scale.

  2. Steps between the galleries

Three seating tiers step down toward the pitch inside the roof ring. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep those ledges and the aisle lines crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Salt Lake Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Salt Lake Stadium takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Salt Lake Stadium

Football fills most of the calendar at the Salt Lake Stadium in Salt Lake City, in Greater Kolkata, India. The ground carries the name Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, or VYBK, after Swami Vivekananda, and Mohun Bagan and East Bengal both count it among their home grounds. Inside, three tiers of concrete galleries are reached by nine gates and 30 ramps; those ramps connect the inner ring road with the different levels, and metal tubes, aluminum sheets and concrete make up the roof.

The club grounds in the Maidan, each good for around 20,000, could no longer carry the matchday crowds, and Eden Gardens was already handling both cricket and football, so the ground was established in 1984. The Jawaharlal Nehru International Gold Cup opened the ground in January 1984, and the U-17 World Cup of 2017 brought 11 matches there, the final among them.

Seating has been cut back twice. At 120,000 seats no football ground in the world held more, until a renovation in 2011 brought that down to 85,000 and a second in 2017 to 67,000. The site covers 76.40 acres, or 309,200 square meters; the main football arena measures 105 by 70 meters (344 by 230 ft); and the pitch went back from artificial turf to natural grass in a Kolkata Derby during the 2016 Calcutta Premier Division.

About this model

The Salt Lake Stadium is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release.
