Shell Energy Stadium in 3D
The landmark on its own, at its size on a 160 mm print. Print friendly thickens thin parts for a 0.4 mm nozzle; Full detail keeps every part.

- Scale

7 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Folded mesh screen
The outside is a folded screen of large triangular facets around the bowl. Print friendly simplifies the fine mesh; Full detail keeps the facet edges for a larger print.
- Three separate canopies
Three separate roof canopies leave the north stand open. Print slowly and use 0.12–0.16 mm layers for the thin canopy edges and scoreboard frame.
- One piece with the ground
Shell Energy Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Shell Energy Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Shell Energy Stadium
This multi-purpose ground in Houston, Texas, is Shell Energy Stadium. Houston Dynamo FC of Major League Soccer plays there, and so does the Houston Dash, who play in the National Women's Soccer League. It opened in May 2012 and is the first stadium built for soccer in a major American downtown. Seating totals 20,656, with 34 private suites and 1,100 club seats.
Funding combined a $60 million club commitment with $35.5 million in city money, and Harris County paid for half of the land in return for shared ownership. Populous designed the stadium, with Christopher Lee as architect. Ground was broken on February 5, 2011, and the first match there was a 1–0 win over D.C. United on May 12, 2012, before a crowd of 22,039.
Naming rights were held by BBVA USA, and the name changed to PNC Financial Services after BBVA's acquisition by PNC; Shell Energy, whose American headquarters are in Houston, has held them since January 17, 2023. The ground occupies a tract in East Downtown bounded by Texas, Walker, Emancipation and Hutchins, and it lies east of Downtown Houston and of the Interstate 69/U.S. Route 59 corridor. In North American competitions it is called Houston Stadium because of advertising rules.
