13 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Dome and eave ring
A shallow dome sits inside a projecting eave ring above the drum. Full detail keeps the fascia and the slim mullions of the glazed band; a larger print helps the dome crown stay smooth.
- Emblem on the roof
The roof carries the Toyota emblem as a low relief of interlocking ellipses. Print friendly adapts that small feature to your print scale; 0.12–0.16 mm layers keep it readable.
- One piece with the ground
Toyota Center is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Toyota Center takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Toyota Center
Toyota Center is an indoor arena in Houston, Texas. Toyota, the Japanese car maker, gave it its name. The Houston Rockets basketball team plays there, and the arena was also home for a time to the Houston Aeros ice hockey club and to the Houston Comets women's basketball team.
The search for a new arena began in 1995, when Rockets owner Leslie Alexander sought a release from the team's lease at The Summit. City voters rejected the proposal in a 1999 referendum, and the project moved ahead once the city and the club reached an amended agreement in 2001. Construction began in July that year and the arena opened in October 2003, at a total cost of $235 million, most of it paid by the city of Houston.
The naming rights cost Toyota US$100 million. Morris Architects drew up the plans; the building covers 750,000 square feet (70,000 m2). Hunt Construction built it. At Alexander's request, the arena was sunk 9.8 m (32 ft) below street level, so fans do not have to climb stairs to reach their seats. It seats 18,104 for basketball, 17,800 for ice hockey and 19,300 for concerts, and it has 103 luxury suites.
About this model
Toyota Center is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
