15 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 650 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Slender roof frames over the stands
The side stands carry open roof frames with thin posts and diagonal braces. Print friendly thickens them for your print scale; Full detail keeps every brace, which suits larger prints.
- Tiered seating rows
The bowl is made of many fine seating tiers. A bigger print and a 0.12-0.16 mm layer height keep the steps distinct instead of blurring into a ramp.
- One piece with the ground
SHI Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. SHI Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About SHI Stadium
SHI Stadium is the football stadium of Rutgers University in Piscataway, New Jersey. It sits on the Busch Campus and looks out over the Raritan River to the south. Rutgers Scarlet Knights football and men's and women's lacrosse all use it for home games.
It opened under the name Rutgers Stadium on September 3, 1994, with the Scarlet Knights playing host to Kent State's Golden Flashes. It replaced an older Rutgers Stadium that was finished in 1938 and stood on the same site. The new venue was first built for 41,500 fans, with a horseshoe shape whose open end faced the south end zone, and a two-story press box that holds 200 reporters.
A major reconstruction from 2008 to 2009 raised the capacity to 52,454. Its main elements were a 5,000-seat upper deck along each side of the field and 968 loge and club seats along the east mezzanine. Roughly 11,500 seats were also added to the south end zone, which had been left open, along with a large video scoreboard there.
About this model
SHI Stadium is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
