11 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Lattice floodlight booms
Long lattice booms rake up over the roof on both long sides. Their lacing and their lamp banks are the finest detail in the model, so use Full detail and a larger print.
- Scalloped roof edge
The membrane edge humps between the roof ribs, and those curves are shallow. Print at 0.12–0.16 mm layers so the scalloped line stays visible all round.
- One piece with the ground
The Stadium de Toulouse is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Stadium de Toulouse takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Stadium de Toulouse
Stadium de Toulouse, once called Stadium Municipal, is the biggest multi-purpose ground in Toulouse, France. It sits on the island of Ramier close to the city center. Football accounts for most of its use, above all Toulouse Football Club's matches, and it stages rugby too, including Stade Toulousain's games in Top 14 and the European Rugby Champions Cup. As a ground for football and rugby only, it has no athletics track around the pitch, and its capacity is 33,150.
The ground dates from 1937, when it was meant for the 1938 FIFA World Cup; it was still unfinished when the tournament came, so the city's World Cup matches were played at Stade du T.O.E.C. instead. Two extensive renovations followed, in 1949 and 1997. Six matches of the 1998 FIFA World Cup were staged there, and it also served as a host venue at the 2007 Rugby World Cup and at UEFA Euro 2016.
Rugby league internationals have been played there since 1953, 14 of them, and 13 involved the France national team. Michael Jackson sang to 40,000 people there on September 16, 1992, on his Dangerous World Tour. The stadium campus also holds several fronton walls, used for local handball and pelota sports.
