12 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- The roof ring and its truss
The continuous roof ring carries a lattice outer truss, so print at a larger size or with Full detail to keep those thin members from merging into a solid band.
- Piers, braces and stair towers
The ring of slender piers, their raking V braces and the open stair towers are the finest parts; 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers and slow printing keep them crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Twickenham Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Twickenham Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Twickenham Stadium
Twickenham Stadium is a rugby union ground in Twickenham, London, England. The Rugby Football Union owns it, and the English game's governing body also has its headquarters on site. England's national team plays its home matches there, and the ground is the second biggest stadium in the United Kingdom after Wembley, and the fourth biggest in Europe.
The union paid £5,500 12s 6d for a market garden of 10.25 acres (4 hectares) here in 1907, and stands followed a year later. Harlequins met Richmond in the first game on October 2, 1909; England met Wales in the first international on January 15, 1910, with room for 20,000 on the ground then. Cattle, horses and sheep grazed it during World War I, and a war memorial was unveiled by King George V in 1921. The BBC's live television broadcast of England against Scotland, a Calcutta Cup match, went out on March 19, 1938, the first such coverage of the sport.
Australia beat England 12–6 in the 1991 Rugby World Cup Final at Twickenham. The ground was rebuilt in stages: a new West Stand in 1932, the South Terrace becoming the South Stand in 1981, and a larger North Stand, designed by Husband & Co, arriving in 1990. Nineteen home matches without defeat from October 1999 earned the ground the name Fortress Twickenham. In August 2024 its renaming as the Allianz Stadium Twickenham was announced, for ten years from September 2024.
