About Aliante Casino and Hotel
In the Aliante community of North Las Vegas, Nevada, stands Aliante Casino and Hotel, a casino hotel that began as Aliante Station. Boyd Gaming owns and runs it. Station Casinos and The Greenspun Corporation announced the project on December 20, 2005, planning a resort of about 200 rooms for guests and 2,000 slot machines. Ground was broken on February 22, 2007, and the finished resort cost $662 million.
In October 2002, a 40-acre (16 ha) parcel where the Las Vegas Beltway meets Aliante Parkway, on the northeast corner, was set aside for a future hotel-casino within the community. On November 11, 2008, crowds gathered outside, and the resort opened at 10:40 p.m., ahead of its scheduled 11:11 p.m. start, a time seen as lucky. Aliante Station was North Las Vegas's first newly opened hotel-casino since 2003, when the Cannery Casino and Hotel opened.
After opening, the resort ran at a loss. Station Casinos went into bankruptcy a year later, and a holding company took over ownership. The name changed to Aliante Casino and Hotel in November 2012, and parts of the property were then rebranded and updated for $2.8 million. In 2016 Boyd Gaming bought the property for $380 million.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 650 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

- Wide low roof
- A broad, low roof carries many small roof details. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail keeps them, which suits a larger print.
- Hotel block windows
- The taller hotel block carries a grid of window lines. A larger print and layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep them crisp.
- One piece with the ground
- Aliante Casino and Hotel is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Aliante Casino and Hotel takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
