Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Setbacks and tower top

Stepped upper floors and small top detail survive best on a larger print or with Full detail; 0.12–0.16 mm layers keep the vertical edges crisp.

  2. A tall, thin block

Print slowly with good cooling for a tall shaft; if the fine facade detail is too small at your size, choose Print friendly.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Altino Arantes Building is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Altino Arantes Building takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Altino Arantes Building

The Altino Arantes Building, also called the Banespa Building and popularly the Banespão, is an Art Deco skyscraper in São Paulo. It served as headquarters for Banespa, São Paulo's state bank, and was built from 1939 to 1947. For two decades it was the city's tallest building, until the Mirante do Vale passed it. Plínio Botelho do Amaral designed it, taking cues from the Empire State Building and from Frank Lloyd Wright.

Construction began on September 19, 1939, and the building opened on June 27, 1947. At 161.22 m it was then São Paulo's tallest and the tallest skyscraper outside the United States. Soon after completion it was called the world's largest reinforced-concrete structure. It has 35 floors and covers 17,951 square meters, with 1,119 windows, 900 steps and 14 elevators. An observation deck at the highest point, reached from the 33rd floor, gives views of up to 40 km.

In the 1960s the building was renamed Edifício Altino Arantes, after the bank's first Brazilian president. It was listed as a municipal heritage site in 2011. It closed to public visits in 2015, then reopened to the public on January 26, 2018 as Farol Santander, a cultural and entertainment center.
