240 m of the Bahrain World Trade Center, 45 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 900 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Three turbine bridges
Each bridge carries a rotor and three thin blades, so the openings around them are the most delicate part of the model. Print friendly adapts the blades; Full detail or a larger print keeps the rotors distinct.
- Pointed sail crowns
Both towers end in pointed crowns with a diamond glazing grid. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm help the fine ribs and crown edges stay crisp.
- One piece with the ground
The Bahrain World Trade Center is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Bahrain World Trade Center takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Bahrain World Trade Center
Bahrain World Trade Center is a pair of towers in Manama, Bahrain, standing 240 meters (787 ft) tall with 50 floors. The multinational architecture firm Atkins designed the complex, and work on the towers finished in 2008. It was the first skyscraper in the world with built-in wind turbines.
Three bridges link the two buildings, and each one holds a 225 kW turbine, for 675 kW in total. Every rotor is 29 meters (95 ft) in diameter. The sail-shaped towers are meant to channel wind through the gap between them; wind tunnel tests found that they create an S-shaped flow that stays square to the rotors for wind within 45 degrees of the central axis.
The turbines were expected to meet 11 to 15 percent of the complex's power needs, roughly 1.1 to 1.3 GWh each year. They first ran on April 8, 2008. The complex sits near the King Faisal Highway, close to Bahrain Financial Harbour, and has won sustainability awards, among them a 2006 LEAF Award.
About this model
The Bahrain World Trade Center is one of more than 4,900 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
