Baiterek (monument) in 3D
The landmark on its own, at its size on a 160 mm print. Print friendly thickens thin parts for a 0.4 mm nozzle; Full detail keeps every part.

105 m of the Baiterek (monument), 28 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Thin crown branches
The upper crown opens into slender branch-like ribs around the lift shaft. Print slowly with good cooling, and use Full detail on a large print to keep those ribs intact.
- Sphere above a narrow waist
A sphere sits above a narrow waist and a splayed base. A larger print holds the sphere's shape and the open gaps beneath it better; Print friendly adapts the thin parts.
- One piece with the ground
The Baiterek (monument) is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Baiterek (monument) takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Baiterek (monument)
Baiterek stands on Nurjol Boulevard in Astana, Kazakhstan's capital, as an observation tower and monument. In Kazakh its name translates as "tall poplar tree". The tower was built to mark the 1997 move of the capital from Almaty, and it has become a symbol of the country since independence. Akmurza Rustembekov, a Kazakh architect, realized the project after it was commissioned in 1996.
A wide, flat base sits inside a raised plaza, and from it the 105-meter structure climbs. White girders branch around a slim central shaft and open outward as they near the summit, where they carry a mirrored gold sphere 22 meters across. Inside the shaft, two lifts rise to an observation deck 97 meters above the ground. That deck occupies two floors, the higher one reached by a flight of stairs, and one level gives 360-degree views of the city.
The design refers to a folktale: Samruk, a magic bird of happiness, laid her egg where two branches of the tree of life met. On the upper level, set into an ornate pedestal, is a gilded imprint of Nursultan Nazarbayev's right hand. Nazarbayev was the first president of independent Kazakhstan, and a plaque asks visitors to put a hand in the print and make a wish.
