Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Buildings around a courtyard

The school is a group of buildings around a courtyard rather than a single tower. Print it larger and use 0.12–0.16 mm layers so the roof edges and courtyard walls stay clear.

  2. One piece with the ground

Beaux-Arts de Paris is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Beaux-Arts de Paris takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Beaux-Arts de Paris

The Beaux-Arts de Paris, whose French title is École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts, is a grande école for advanced fine arts education and training, and part of Paris Sciences et Lettres University. It has a campus in Paris's Saint-Germain-des-Prés and another in Saint-Ouen. Its Paris site stands at 14 rue Bonaparte in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, near the quai Malaquais and across the Seine from the Louvre. Charles Le Brun founded the school in 1648 as the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture.

The academies were suppressed in 1793 during the French Revolution and revived in 1817, after the Bourbon Restoration, under a changed name following a merger with the Académie d'architecture. The school stayed in royal hands until 1863, when an imperial decree of November 13, 1863 named its director for a five-year term. It is a public institution overseen by the Ministry of Culture.

The campus covers about two hectares. Carved heads of the sculptors Pierre Paul Puget and Nicolas Poussin, colossal in scale and carved by Michel-Louis Victor Mercier in 1838, flank the main entrance. In 1830 the former student Félix Duban began reshaping the site and designed the Palais des Études, the largest central building. At its core is the Hémicycle d'Honneur, a semicircular award theater with a 27-meter mural by Paul Delaroche showing seventy-five artists, among them Phidias, Ictinus and Apelles. The school's collection of about 450,000 items is among France's largest public art collections.
