About Bellagio

Bellagio is a casino resort and luxury hotel standing on the Las Vegas Strip, within Paradise, Nevada. Casino owner Steve Wynn conceived it, and it was built where the Dunes hotel-casino once stood. Mirage Resorts, Wynn's company, bought the Dunes in 1992. In 1994 plans were unveiled for a French-themed resort called Beau Rivage, but in 1995 Wynn switched the theme to the Italian village of Bellagio on Lake Como. Jon Jerde designed the resort.

Marnell Corrao Associates was the general contractor for the project, which broke ground on November 1, 1995. The resort opened to the public on October 15, 1998, and its 36-story tower held 3,005 rooms. Its $1.6 billion price tag made it the priciest resort built anywhere up to that point. A second tower, 33 stories tall with 928 rooms, followed in 2004.

The property covers 31 ha (77 acres). The Fountains of Bellagio, a water show set to music, is its best-known attraction, staged in an 8.5-acre artificial lake in front of the resort. It also has the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art, a conservatory and botanical gardens. The lobby contains Fiori di Como, a work by the glass artist Dale Chihuly and the largest glass sculpture in the world.

How it prints

Make this print opens the generator on a 1450 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

Landmark height and scale at three print sizes
Print size Landmark height Scale

200 mm 23 mm 1:7,250
256 mm 29 mm 1:5,664

A curved, tall hotel tower
The main tower has a curved face with fine vertical detail. Print friendly adapts it to the print scale; Full detail keeps more of it, which suits a larger print or a fine nozzle.
Tall neighbors on every side
Several tall buildings stand close to the resort. Printing slowly and using layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm helps keep the tower tops crisp.
One piece with the ground
Bellagio is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Bellagio takes the building color.
File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About this model

Bellagio is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.

Common questions

Is there a Bellagio STL I can download?

Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.

How big can I print it?

Any print size from 40 mm across. Bellagio grows with the print: about 18 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.

Is it free?

Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
