About Wynn Las Vegas
Wynn Las Vegas is a luxury resort and casino in Paradise, Nevada, along the Las Vegas Strip, owned and operated by Wynn Resorts. It was built where the Desert Inn, a resort that opened in 1950, once stood; casino developer Steve Wynn bought the Desert Inn and closed it in 2000. The design phase ran two and a half years. Marnell Corrao Associates was the general contractor, and work began on October 31, 2002. The old Desert Inn golf course was retained and reworked into the Wynn's course.
Its opening came on April 28, 2005, when it had 2,716 rooms and a casino covering 10,300 square meters (111,000 sq ft). The hotel tower, 45 stories high, was the tallest building in Nevada at the time. Its $2.7 billion cost made it the priciest resort ever built, topping Wynn's earlier Bellagio, a $1.6 billion resort on the Strip that opened in 1998. Encore Las Vegas, a sister property directly north, opened in December 2008, and in May 2010 Wynn declared the whole complex finished, at a total of $5.2 billion.
Unlike most Strip resorts, the Wynn has no theme. An artificial mountain screens most of the attractions, and the mountain and several restaurants surround a lake of 3 acres (1.2 ha), where a show called Lake of Dreams features singing animatronics. The resort was first announced as Le RĂªve, after a 1932 Picasso painting Wynn had bought, and was renamed Wynn in June 2003. The logo is Wynn's surname in signature form, lit up across the top of the hotel tower.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

- Fine bands on the curved face
- Thin horizontal bands wrap the curved tower. Print friendly adapts these fine lines to the print scale; Full detail keeps them, which suits a larger print or a fine nozzle.
- The script logo
- The signature logo near the top is a thin, fine line. A bigger print size helps it show, and layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep it crisp.
- One piece with the ground
- Wynn Las Vegas is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Wynn Las Vegas takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
