7 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Wings and pilasters
On a palace with side wings, pilasters and roof edges carry much of the detail. Print friendly adapts small features to the print scale; a 0.12–0.16 mm layer height keeps the vertical lines crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Bellevue Palace, Germany is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Bellevue Palace, Germany takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Bellevue Palace, Germany
Bellevue Palace, or Schloss Bellevue, stands in Berlin's Tiergarten district beside the Spree, near the Berlin Victory Column and at the Großer Tiergarten park's northern edge. Since 1994 it has served as the German president's official residence. Its name is French for "beautiful view," taken from the prospect over the river.
The palace was built in 1786 for Prince Augustus Ferdinand of Prussia, with Michael Philipp Boumann as its architect. This prince was King Frederick II's youngest brother. A manor house by Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorff was demolished on the site, and a leather factory on the riverfront became the right side-wing. It counts as Germany's first Neoclassical building, with Corinthian pilasters and wings on either side. A ballroom by Carl Gotthard Langhans kept its original decoration, and a park of about 20 hectares surrounds the palace.
King Frederick William IV inherited Bellevue in 1843. It later housed Princess Alexandrine, and the Hohenzollern princes used it until the 1918–19 German Revolution. After World War II damage, it was refurbished in the 1950s. President Theodor Heuss inaugurated it in 1959, and it served as a secondary residence for the West German president. Richard von Weizsäcker made it his primary residence in 1994 after German reunification.
