Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Small details on a wide building

A terminal building spreads out wide, with small details along its edges. A larger print size keeps those details, while Print friendly adapts thin parts to the print scale.

  2. One piece with the ground

Berlin Brandenburg Airport Terminal 2 is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Berlin Brandenburg Airport Terminal 2 takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Berlin Brandenburg Airport Terminal 2

Berlin Brandenburg Airport lies in Schönefeld, immediately south of Berlin, within the state of Brandenburg, 18 kilometers (11 mi) southeast of the center of the city. It took over from Tempelhof, Schönefeld and Tegel airports, and it reuses much of Schönefeld's existing infrastructure, a runway among it. The full German name is Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg „Willy Brandt“.

When it opened, the airport's theoretical capacity was 46 million passengers a year across three terminals. Terminal 1 provides 28 million of that. Terminal 2 provides 6 million; the COVID-19 pandemic delayed it, and it opened on March 24, 2022. Terminal 5, the former Berlin-Schönefeld Airport's terminal buildings, adds the remaining 12 million.

Construction began in 2006, and the opening was first planned for October 2011, five years later. Delays followed, with poor planning, execution and management of the construction, and corruption, named as causes. The main reason for continued delays lay with the fire protection and alarm system. The airport got its operating licence in May 2020 and began handling commercial traffic on October 31, 2020, 14 years after construction began.

About this model

Berlin Brandenburg Airport Terminal 2 is one of more than 5,500 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Each model is written as code from public descriptions, plans, photographs and aerial views used only as references; no image or third-party model is copied into it. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. Rights in the building itself, its name and any brands on it are not granted by Mini Skyline; clear them separately before you sell prints.
