6 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A low station at default size
The station is low at the default print size, so a larger print gives its details more room to read.
- One piece with the ground
Berlin Frankfurter Allee station is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Berlin Frankfurter Allee station takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Berlin Frankfurter Allee station
Berlin Frankfurter Allee is a station in Berlin's Friedrichshain district, on Frankfurter Allee near the border with Lichtenberg. It is a stop for S-Bahn lines S41 and S42 (the ringbahn), S8 and S85, and for U-Bahn line U5. It is classed as a railway station and as a Haltepunkt, or train stop. The station first opened on May 1, 1872, under the name Friedrichsberg. In 1890–91 the Frankfurter Allee station was erected, with a platform between the tracks and a brick entrance building. The station carried the name Stalinallee from 1949 to 1961, and Deutsche Bahn owns it.
The U5 arrived late in the 1920s; the old Ringbahn bridge came down and a wider one was put in its place. Plans for a direct link between the U5 platforms below ground and the S-Bahn platforms above were never carried out. Such a link would put the S-Bahn platform on the bridge over the road; a platform cannot fit between the rails, so the bridge would have to be rebuilt entirely.
