5 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Faceted entrance hall
The entrance is a faceted hall with tall triangular-headed windows. Print friendly adapts the thin glazing bars; use 0.12–0.16 mm layers if you keep the Full detail version.
- Stepped lantern and flat wings
A stepped lantern rises behind the hall above flat-roofed wings. Print slowly with cooling so the small steps and roof edges stay crisp, and print larger if they blur.
- One piece with the ground
Berlin-Wannsee station is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Berlin-Wannsee station takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Berlin-Wannsee station
Berlin-Wannsee station is a railway station in the Wannsee district of Berlin, Germany. It opened in 1874 and serves as a traffic junction in the southwest of the city, used by RegionalExpress and RegionalBahn trains, the Harz-Berlin-Express and the Berlin S-Bahn. In summer it becomes the Berlin terminal for DB AutoZug trains, which carry cars to and from southern Europe.
On August 13, 1961, when the Berlin Wall was built, S-Bahn service from Potsdam and Stahnsdorf stopped, and a shuttle to Potsdam-Griebnitzsee ended in 1962. The line to Potsdam was reconnected after the Wall fell. Reconstruction began in April 1991 and finished on April 1, 1992. Line S1 ends at Wannsee, while S7 passes through on its way to Potsdam.
The entrance building stands north of the station and connects to the platforms by a subway. Two island platforms for S-Bahn services lie south of the entrance, then a longer island platform serves Deutsche Bahn and Veolia trains, with the AutoZug terminal beyond. Bus routes stop at an interchange in front of the station, and ferry line F10 runs from a terminal about 200 meters (660 ft) from the station entrance, across the Großer Wannsee to Alt-Kladow.
