6 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Long facade detail
The model's long facades carry small edges and openings. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep them crisp; Full detail suits a large print or a fine nozzle.
- One piece with the ground
The Bibliothèque de l'Arsenal is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Bibliothèque de l'Arsenal takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Bibliothèque de l'Arsenal
The Bibliothèque de l'Arsenal is a Paris library founded in 1757. Since 1934 it has belonged to the Bibliothèque nationale de France. Its collections grew from a private library assembled by Marc-René, third marquis d'Argenson, and installed in 1757 in the Grand Master of the Artillery's residence, at the heart of the old Arsenal.
King François I founded the Arsenal during the 16th century; Sully rebuilt it and Germain Boffrand expanded it in the 18th. During the French Revolution the state seized the library, which grew with valuable items taken from Paris abbeys and with the archives of the Bastille. It was declared a public library on April 28, 1797. The writer Charles Nodier became librarian in 1824 and hosted literary salons there.
The library holds about one million volumes, including 150,000 printed before 1880, just over 12,000 manuscripts, 100,000 prints, plus 3,000 charts and plans. It collects mainly French literature of the 16th through 19th centuries, alongside bibliophilia, book history and binding, and material on the Arsenal and its occupants. Its Bastille archives date from 1660 onward.
