Brazilian National Archives in 3D
The landmark on its own, at its size on a 160 mm print. Print friendly thickens thin parts for a 0.4 mm nozzle; Full detail keeps every part.

- 7 mm
- Scale
- 1:3,750
7 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Arched windows around a courtyard
The model is a group of wings around an open courtyard, with rows of small arched windows and a pedimented front. A larger print keeps those windows readable, and a 0.12–0.16 mm layer height keeps them crisp.
- One piece with the ground
The Brazilian National Archives is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Brazilian National Archives takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Brazilian National Archives
The National Archives of Brazil, called Arquivo Nacional in Portuguese, are based in Rio de Janeiro. Their origin lies in 1838, when they were set up under the name Imperial Public Archives; they were renamed in 1911. The institution manages, preserves and shares federal government documents, and a 2018 decree made it the main body of the federal system for managing archival documents.
On January 2, 1838, regulation No. 2 created the empire's Public Archives, divided into Administrative, Legislative and Historical sections. Its first home was a building belonging to the Ministry of the Empire, and in 1844 it moved to Praça do Comércio. It later moved into the Convent of Santo Antônio, on its upper floor. Joaquim Pires Machado Portella took over as director in 1873, and the archive opened for public consultation the following year.
Documents can be consulted in person in Rio de Janeiro or Brasília, where the institution has two units, or reached online. Records of diplomatic exchanges between Brazil and the US from before 1959 are also kept there, and reaching some of them may require contacting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
About this model
The Brazilian National Archives is one of more than 4,900 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
