Brunei International Airport in 3D
The landmark on its own, at its size on a 160 mm print. Print friendly thickens thin parts for a 0.4 mm nozzle; Full detail keeps every part.

- Scale
- 1:5,000
9 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 800 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Arched roof and rooflight
The terminal has a broad arched roof with a recessed central rooflight and scalloped curb canopies. Print friendly simplifies the thin eave trusses; Full detail suits a larger print.
- Fork columns and eave truss
The inclined fork columns under the roof are slender. Slow the print and use 0.12–0.16 mm layers to keep the eave structure clean.
- One piece with the ground
Brunei International Airport is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Brunei International Airport takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Brunei International Airport
Brunei International Airport is the only international airport in Brunei, on the island of Borneo. It lies near Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital, and Royal Brunei Airlines uses it as its base and hub. The site is also used by Royal Brunei Air Force Base, Rimba. Routes cover Asia, Oceania, the Middle East and London Heathrow.
Brunei's commercial air services date from 1953. The old airport at Berakas used a runway site the Japanese built during World War II, and it outgrew its capacity as air travel expanded in the 1970s. Construction of a new airport started in 1970 in Mukim Berakas, and it became operational in 1974, with a runway that was one of the longest in the Far East. Royal Brunei Airlines began flying from the new airport on May 14, 1975.
The international terminal is built for as many as three million travelers. There are 40 check-in desks, plus 14 immigration clearance counters and 12 emigration counters. Freight capacity at the cargo terminal reaches 50,000 tonnes, or 55,116 tons. The airport sits about 8 km from the center of the capital, and it includes a mosque, a bank and a post office.
