107 m of the Çamlıca Mosque, 37 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Slender minarets
Minarets are tall and thin, so they are the delicate part of a mosque print. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; printing slowly with good cooling helps them hold up.
- One piece with the ground
The Çamlıca Mosque is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Çamlıca Mosque takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Çamlıca Mosque
Opened on March 7, 2019, the Grand Çamlıca Mosque is a landmark for Islamic worship that straddles Çamlıca Hill in Istanbul's Üsküdar district. It can be seen from much of central Istanbul. Its complex also holds an art gallery, a library and a conference hall, and there is room for up to 63,000 worshippers. It cost US$110 million.
Two women, Hayriye Gül Totu and Bahar Mızrak, led the planning, which started in the year 2000; their design took second prize in a competition. The design draws on Mimar Sinan's works and Classical Ottoman architecture. The main dome is 72 meters high, a height that symbolizes the 72 nations living in Istanbul. Its gates are among the largest in any place of worship in the world.
Six minarets stand for the six articles of Islamic faith: four have three balconies and rise 107.1 meters, and the other two have two balconies and reach 90 meters. Four are arranged around the central dome and two stand at the outer ends. When it was built, only two other mosques in Turkey had six minarets: Adana's Sabancı Merkez Mosque and Istanbul's Sultanahmet (Blue) Mosque.
About this model
The Çamlıca Mosque is one of more than 5,500 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Each model is written as code from public descriptions, plans, photographs and aerial views used only as references; no image or third-party model is copied into it. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. Rights in the building itself, its name and any brands on it are not granted by Mini Skyline; clear them separately before you sell prints. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
