About the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre Hangar
The CBHC sits beside the St. Marys River, on its north bank, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. It exists to preserve the story of bush flying, and of forest protection, across Canada. A group of local volunteers founded it in 1987, with the aim of keeping the province's bush plane and aerial firefighting history.
Its hangar of 5,900 m2 (64,000 square feet) holds more than thirty aircraft exhibits. The site is an air base of historical significance, set up in 1924 by the Ontario Provincial Air Service. It runs the Sault Ste. Marie Water Aerodrome as well.
Visitors find a flight simulator, a replica fire tower, a film about aerial firefighting and an exhibit on women in aviation, and the Entomica Insectarium is housed there too. Waterbombers, floatplanes, bush planes and forest fire fighting equipment are the main focus, together with other aviation and forestry artifacts.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

- Long, wide roof
- A long, wide roof covers the hangar, with fine lines along it. A larger print size and layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep the lines crisp; Print friendly adapts the finest ones.
- Entrance wing details
- The entrance wing has an angled canopy and rows of small windows. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail keeps them, which suits a larger print.
- One piece with the ground
- The Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre Hangar is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre Hangar takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

Common questions
Is there a Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre Hangar STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. The Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre Hangar grows with the print: about 4 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
