Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Open frame at the crown
The top of the tower carries an open frame of thin members above a tapering upper body. Print friendly adapts thin parts to the print scale; Full detail suits a large print, with a 0.12–0.16 mm layer height.
- One piece with the ground
Capital Tower (Singapore) is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Capital Tower (Singapore) takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Capital Tower (Singapore)
Capital Tower is a skyscraper of 52 stories that reaches 254 m (833 ft). It sits on Robinson Road beside Tanjong Pagar MRT station, in Singapore's Shenton Way-Tanjong Pagar financial district, and was completed in 2000. Mah Bow Tan, the Minister for National Development, officially opened the building on May 16, 2001.
It was first planned as the headquarters of POSBank, but ownership passed to CapitaLand, and it became that company's flagship building and took its name. Five shuttle double-deck lifts serve the 52 floors, carrying 3,540 kg and moving at 10 m/s. After dark, the logo and other parts of the tower change their lighting every few seconds.
The top floor is occupied by the China Club, a members-only club with a bar, a restaurant, private dining rooms and meeting rooms, which opened on May 19, 2001. GIC Private Limited is the anchor tenant of the tower.
