17 m of the Casa del Fascio (Como), 5 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Front loggia and blank field
The model has a five-bay front loggia beside a broad blank marble field. Print friendly keeps the recessed glazing readable; a fine nozzle or a larger print brings out the thin floor beams and rails.
- Courtyard and flat roof
A courtyard sits above the double-height hall, and the roofline stays flat and continuous. Print slowly with cooling so the thin roof edge and courtyard walls stay clean at 0.12–0.16 mm layers.
- One piece with the ground
The Casa del Fascio (Como) is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Casa del Fascio (Como) takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Casa del Fascio (Como)
The Casa del Fascio in Como, also known as Palazzo Terragni, stands on Piazza del Popolo in Como, Italy. Giuseppe Terragni designed it, and it opened in 1936 as the local office of the National Fascist Party. It is counted among the masterpieces of Italian Modern Architecture, with a square plan, four stories, a height of 16.60 m and a width of 33.20 m.
Construction ran from July 1933 to 1936. When Fascism fell in 1945, the National Liberation Committee Parties occupied it. The city of Como later claimed ownership, and in 1956 the property was put up for auction. In 1957 the local Finance Police made the building its headquarters, and in 1986 it was listed as having great historical and artistic interest.
Inside, a double-height assembly hall rises through the center under a skylight of concrete-framed glass blocks, with galleries above and an inner courtyard at roof level. The main facade is laid out on the golden ratio, with opaque slabs of Calcare di Bottincino and translucent glass block; the four facades are equal in size but each different.
