Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Fine edges and openings

Small openings and thin roof edges print cleanly at 0.12–0.16 mm layers. A larger print preserves them; Print friendly adapts the smallest parts at the default size.

  2. Print speed for thin parts

The upper parts are the most delicate. Print slowly with good cooling, and choose Full detail for a large print or a fine nozzle.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Chiaravalle Abbey is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Chiaravalle Abbey takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Chiaravalle Abbey

Chiaravalle Abbey is a Cistercian monastery in the comune of Milan, in Lombardy, northern Italy. It was founded on January 22, 1135, as a daughter house of the abbey at Clairvaux, and it counts among Italy's earliest Gothic buildings, though some late Romanesque elements remain. The district around it was once an independent comune called Chiaravalle Milanese.

Bernard of Clairvaux, the first abbot and founder of Clairvaux, came to Milan in 1135 and chose a marshy area south of the city for the new monastery. Builders began the permanent church around 1150–1160 and consecrated it on May 2, 1221. Work continued with the first cloister in the 13th century, then, during the 14th, the crossing tower and refectory. In 1490 Cardinal Ascanio Sforza asked Bramante and Giovanni Antonio Amadeo to build the large cloister and chapterhouse.

The crossing tower, whose local dialect name is the Ciribiciaccola, begins at the dome area and rises through two octagonal sections to a final conical one, reaching 56.26 m at the cross tip. The church follows a Latin-cross layout, with a nave, two aisles, a flat apse and a crossing dome, and its interior preserves Baroque frescoes by the Della Rovere brothers, Giovan Battista and Giovan Mauro.
