16 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Compact church, fine layers
At the default size the church is small. Print it larger, and use 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers, so the tower and facade keep their outline.
- Small facade details
At the default size the facade details are tiny. Keep Full detail for a large print, or choose Print friendly to adapt them to the print scale.
- One piece with the ground
The Church of Our Lady of Victories is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Church of Our Lady of Victories takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Church of Our Lady of Victories
This Prague church, dedicated to Our Lady of Victories, stands in Malá Strana, the city's Lesser Quarter, and the Discalced Carmelites run it. It serves as the shrine of the Infant of Prague and holds a 16th-century figure of the Christ child with a globus cruciger, brought from Spain. Princess Polyxena of Lobkowicz gave the statue to the friars in 1628.
A chapel to the Holy Trinity, built in 1584, first occupied the site. Rudolph II's Letter of Majesty was followed by a bigger church, Roman-basilica in style, built for German Lutherans around 1611. After the Battle of White Mountain on November 8, 1620, the Counter-Reformation marked Prague's return to Catholicism. Ferdinand II handed the church to the Carmelites in 1624; it was dedicated to Our Lady of Victories and to Saint Anthony of Padua.
Reconstruction began in 1636, together with a monastery. Baltasar Marradas paid for the front facade built in 1664, and a tower followed in 1669. Emperor Joseph II abolished the monastery on June 3, 1784. Prague's Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, includes the church, which also holds a museum about the Infant of Prague.
