Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Cupola and facade detail

A church with a cupola and a detailed facade prints cleanly at a larger size, where 0.12–0.16 mm layers keep curves and vertical lines crisp.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Church of St. Catherine (Saint Petersburg) is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Church of St. Catherine (Saint Petersburg) takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Church of St. Catherine (Saint Petersburg)

The Catholic Church of St. Catherine stands on Nevsky Prospekt in St. Petersburg. It is Russia's oldest Catholic church and the only one in the country with the title of basilica, granted on July 23, 2013. The building belongs to the Archdiocese of Moscow. Empress Anna gave permission in 1738 to build on Nevsky Prospekt. Designs based on the work of Domenico Trezzini were abandoned in 1751, Jean-Baptiste Vallin de la Mothe supplied new plans in the 1760s, and Antonio Rinaldi completed the church on October 7, 1783. It took its name from St. Catherine of Alexandria, for Empress Catherine II.

The building is shaped as a Latin cross, with the transept crowned by a large cupola. It is 44 meters long, 25 meters wide and 42 meters high. Its main facade has a monumental arched portal resting on self-supporting columns, and a high parapet carries figures of the four evangelists and angels.
