10 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A single tall tower
The tower is the church's defining feature and the thinnest part to print. Print slowly with good cooling, and use Print friendly or a larger print size so it keeps its shape.
- One piece with the ground
The Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary
St. Mary's Church (Kościół Mariacki), formally named Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, stands at ulica Przyrynek 2 in Warsaw. It ranks among the oldest buildings in the city and is one of the few Gothic ones that survive. The church sits where an ancient pagan place of worship once stood. The foundation stone was laid in 1409 by Duke Janusz I the Old of Masovia together with Danutė of Lithuania, his wife, and the church was consecrated in 1411.
The building has been altered, demolished and rebuilt several times. It began as a single-nave brick church with a ceiling and an arched presbytery, and it later became a three-nave basilica, before the 15th century ended. During World War II German forces severely damaged it: the nave roof fell in and the top of the tower was blown up. The church was reconstructed from 1947 to 1966 to a design by Beata Trylińska.
The church's most striking feature is its tower, built in 1518. It can be recognized from a great distance and appears in the oldest images of Warsaw. Behind the church lies a small park with steps leading down to the Vistula and the Kościuszko banks of the river. Outdoor theater performances and concerts are organized in the square.
